So much lately to choose from with Facebook, Google+, Twitter....Unthink just launched today which is supposedly the anti-Facebook.
I am still trying to understand the benefits of each and how to best use them for communicating and interacting.
My Facebook account hit 5,000 Friends around two years ago I think it was .... they have a limit on the amount of friends you can have. The majority of the 5,000 are either church friends or friends on mission who connect together about church, leadership etc. So I finally did the conversion today and made my Facebook profile into a "page". A page has unlimted capacity for making connections so that makes it easier. And then I started a separate new Facebook profile/timeline which will be more family, actual friends or people/musicians/artists I enjoy following or connecting with. So I won't be double posting - they each will be different and I am keeping the new one more personal and not public.
If anyone is interested - the new Facebook page which will focus on church, mission, apologetics/theology, worship/arts and writing/books is:
new Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/DanKimball
and you can "like" if you want to read the updates I will be posting and linking from there to here.
My Google+ is http://www.gplus.to/DanKimball
My Twitter is: http://www.twitter.com/DanKimball
Still experimenting and trying to figure out the best times to Twitter vs. post on Facebook vs. Google+ and link from those to the blog for longer posts. I will be see where these all end up for everyone over the next couple of years. But those are my personal updates just did with Facebook.
I'd be curious how others are figuring out how best to use which ones and how to figure out the best ways of communicating via the multiple options we have today.
